Leoncini History

 
    The growth and success of the firms that bear the Leoncini name are one and the same with the name of Aristodemo Leoncini, a renowned master of the art of making salted meats.
    
The Leoncini industries began as a small family business back in 1918 in the Province of Reggio Emilia, in the hearth of Emilia Romagna region, where Mr. Aristodemo developped his firm with a continuous escalation and in 1948 a delicatessen factory  near the Garda Lake in the province of Verona, called him as his reputation of technician in the production of salted meats crossed the limits of his native region.
    
To leave the earth and the places where one took his first steps is always difficult but the ambition, the liveliness, the strong character, the great passion for his work convinced Mr. Leoncini to give in the assiduous Veronese firm's court. Mr. Aristodemo decided to do the great step, he left the native Barco di Bibbiano and he moved to Colà di Lazise for becoming a member of SALUMIFICIO DEL GARDA and make it important.
      Assisted in his work by the sons Eliseo Mario and Sergio, he achieved the objective to establish a real delicatessen industry very quickly. In 1959 Leoncini family became the only owner of the society and in 1960 the dream to name it with "Leoncini" again was realized. It finished like this the activity of the old Salumificio del Garda that took the name of Leoncini under the legal status of general partnership first and actually of limited company.
    
Mr. Eliseo Mario has run the company, as President, from its constitution till to march 2003, date of his death, with the same ambition, liveliness, strong character and great passion for his work that had given life his father Mr. Aristodemo; the sons Paolo and Gianfranco that, when they were young, came into contact with the work for learning those essential and important things that do great and reliable a firm, have cooperated with their father in the management of the firm and now, together as always, they continue in the Leoncini family tradition that finds them entrepreneurs for nearly a century.

    Leoncini family's tradition remains intact; the persons change but everything else is like time ago: the love for the work and for the firm, the constant presence in the factory, the personal intervention to take a decision, the severe application of the ancient meat production technology combined with Emilian recipes jealously kept and handed on from generation to generation.
    
The technique evolution is applied with great attention in order to take advantages but well cautious don't damage at all the products' quality that has always been the arrival point and the force of the firm.
